I ran into JY and Eric on my last trip to Apalachicola Bay back in April. The town of Eastpoint is almost devoid of any of the old oystermen who were there before the bay was closed. There are still a few fishermen and shrimpers around, but not many. I am hoping that one day soon the bay will reopen, at least for a while. I miss the hustle and bustle of the oystermen.
